The Community Cast reacting about the show’s renewal
In 2011 Community was my main fandom: I watched and rewatched and rerewatched the episodes, was active on LJ communities (especially Milady/Milord), had an OTP, read fics, read meta, etc. I got a bunch of my friends into the show as well and it was all I talked about.
Then the dreaded hiatus happened at the end of 2011 and I had to fill out the emptiness it would leave. I remembered how Abed dealt with Cougar’s Town hiatus: Inspector Spacetime. So I said why not, let’s try Doctor Who, I’ve heard good things and this guy (Tennant) seems funny. (oh god what was I thinking)
Well what happened happened and basically Doctor Who (and then tumblr) took all of my time and energy and while I was still a fan of Community, I was not as obsessed as before, and then they kinda sank my ship and then Harmon left…
Nevertheless, it’s a BRILLIANT show and it had a lot to do with how my life changed in the past couple of years and I don’t know if yesterday’s episode was the season’s finale or the series’ finale but they deserve all the praise and the cast and crew as well. Love them all and if it was the end, I’ll miss them all dearly.
